yield, especially acacia trees, conserve the environment, and enable ecological regeneration.
SOCODEE provides comprehensive awareness, training and promoting the widespread practice of tree planting to ensure
local forest regeneration; implementing the adoption of improved cook stoves (smokeless stoves) and eco- briquettes.
This reduces reliance on traditional firewood, hereby decreasing deforestation and mitigating climate change impacts;
SOCODEE’s combined activities are geared toward conserving present trees and enabling ecological regeneration to
stabilize soil. This initiative addresses the critical link between environmental degradation and human rights abuses,
particularly those affecting vulnerable women in the community.
